Pinoy Online Money Making

Posted by Mike Wagan | Wednesday, September 17, 2008

This blog is my attempt to unravel the secrets behind the success of our top pro-bloggers who are earning a hefty sum from their writings on blogs. One of them is Yuga from YugaTech.com, an all-Pinoy tech blog which ranks #1 in topblogs.com.ph. He has been featured in a number of local and international TV programs and publishings and with no doubt, he has been bringing in the bucks from his blog! Of course, he also has other endeavors that gives him income, like being an owner (or co-owner) of the most popular hosting company in the Philippines, Ploghost.

Another world-wide-web popular blog is JohnChow.com. He's been the inspiration of many pro-bloggers out there who wants to pay the bills with their blog. He was once #1 in the Google search for the keywords "money making online". At present, he has renovated his blog, with a more professional layout and earning better than ever. The latest venture he will be having is a dinner at Blog Expo World which will be held in Las Vegas, along with some of the top bloggers around the world. Just imagine how rich he is now just by posting entries about the things that interests him!

Probably one of the most popular ways to get your own place in the web is through blogging. Blogger and Wordpress just two of the blogging platforms you can use to start your own site. It is easy to use them, and there are hundreds, or maybe even thousands, of template designs you can download and use that will change the look of your blog to fit your needs. Best of all, Blogger, Wordpress, and most of their templates are completely free to use!

But how do they earn money from their blogs? Number one is: Ads, ads, and more ads!  Think of your blog as billboard for you to place some ads in. And you will be paid when your visitors click the advetisements.  Problogger.net has listed its sources of income, and all of them are basically advertisements you put in your blog site, and when your visitors click on these links, you are paid by the advertisers. Very simple?

On my next posts I'll be detailing what advertisements you should put on your blog. So don't be left out, subscribe to my RSS feeds!
